The Xiaomi Mi A1 has been officially announced and is the company’s first phone to feature Android One.
If you do not know, it’s an Android stock of Android for cheap handsets, which are always updated like Nexus and Pixel devices, with a lightweight, blur-free software.
So far, every Xiaomi phone has always been released with the MIUI user interface and the Chinese giant has never released an Android-powered device.
Xiaomi Mi A1 will be launched in the stores of 37 countries and will be available for buying from October.
In India, it will cost less than 200 euros, which is an excellent price for a phone with its specifications. If you did not understand it, the Xiaomi Mi A1 is a variant of the Xiaomi Mi 5X announced on July 26 along with MIUI 9.
The only difference between these two devices is the software that has been installed: while Mi 5X has MIUI 9, Mi A1 has Android One. The rest of the specifications are exactly the same, it is a design-focused device and the camera is sold at an excellent value for money.
The Xiaomi Mi A1 has an integrated metallic design with antenna bands located at the border: it is similar to the Oppo R11 and Vivo X9s and has begun to compete with these phones in China. The screen is 5.5 inches in size and displays images at Full HD 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution.
Inside Xiaomi Mi A, has a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 SoC octa core, running at a maximum frequency of 2 GHz. SoC is combined with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. On the back, there is a 12 MP camera, while the battery has a capacity of 3080 mAh.
