Xiaomi 5X High Model Snapdragon 660 plus 6 GB RAM
According to the latest rumors, the Xiaomi 5X will be the first phone from a brand new lineup of the company that was created to compete with Oppo and Vivo sales in China. An earlier leak poster suggested that this phone will be a mid-range equipped with a 5.5-inch screen showing images at Full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The poster said that from the material side we will find a Snapdragon 625 SoC octave core from Qualcomm running at a maximum frequency of 2 GHz. The poster also showed the phone’s design, with a complete metallic design and a dual camera mounted on the back.
A new leak indicates that there will be a high version of the Xiaomi 5X also, with obviously higher price and more powerful equipment. It is rumored that this version will be powered by the octa core Snapdragon 660 SoC, which is actually Qualcomm’s best midrange processor. Along with this SoC, there would be 6 GB of RAM and maybe 64 GB of internal storage. It appears that the dual-camera installation on the back will have a 12 MP resolution and will consist of Sony IMX386 and Samsung S5k3m3.
The front camera can have an 8 MP resolution and the operating system should be Android 7.1.1 Nougat customized with the new MIUI 9. The Xiaomi 5X high version, leaked, has the same appearance as the standard So To have a 5.5 inch Full HD screen. Take all this information with a pinch of salt, as we are not talking about official statements. The company has not yet confirmed the existence of this phone but is expected to be announced on July 26, the same day as Meizu Pro 7 and 7 Plus.
